The name of the ASIC chipset developed by Cirrus Logic and used in the MessagePad 2000, MessagePad 2100, and eMate 300 devices. Officially known as the CL-PS7000, Voyager was this first chipset to support the StrongARM processor. It consisted of four chips which provided control for all digital subsystems including the, analogue peripherals, PCMCIA, and infrared communication.
Voyager is sometimes referred to by the code name Cirrus.
